  A Gospel centered, Bible preaching church. The Vine doesn't add anything to the Word of God and operates according to the calling from the Gospels and the mission that Jesus appointed the Church to. The pillars of the church are Gospel, Community and Mission. Everything driven from the Word of the Gospels, living it out in community in small groups and fellowship outside of Sunday mornings and also following the call of making disciples of all nations, including neighbors and nations in Madison. Very easy to relate to the pastoral staff and very impactfull teaching each Sunday

  I have been going to The Vine for almost four year now. I started coming because it was less than a mile for my apartment but after the first service I knew this would be my church home as long as I was in Madison. The preaching is sound, biblical, relevant, easy to understand. The pastors are transparent, approachable, and kind. The people are friendly and genuinely want to get to know you. But beyond all of that this is a church with a vision and mission that resonate with my heart. You will hear it every week: gospel, community, mission. This is a community of people that truly want to live out the gospel and be on mission for Jesus in their city.

  I came to The Vine three years after coming to know Christ. I found The Vine via the Gospel Coalition so I knew in advance that the church was Gospel-centered and that was important to me. I was skiddish at first about churches but knew I really needed to plant myself into a body of believers. What I have come to experience is a church of Christ-followers who really know how to love well. I love these people and I am able to live out my faith with them in a meaningful way.

  Warm and welcoming while still encouraging you to allow God to work in your life. We were able to quickly form connections which deepen our love and knowledge of God. Real and relevant.

  Something I really like about The Vine is that it takes the call to be the body of Christ seriously and partners with several organizations, such as Badger Prairie and Elizabeth House, to serve the people of Madison. Ever since my first visit I have felt welcome and had opportunities to be involved. We use Slack as a way to keep in touch, meet needs within our church family and the greater Madison community, and hang out at concerts, lunch, and other fun events. Also, the coffee’s not too bad.
