  This is a small church with believer from different parts of the world. I have been attending this church for half a year. This is where I feel like home.

  So I didn't even go to services here, but... The church had agreed to let some attendees of a social justice convention sleep in their building for three nights. Cool, huh? We just came back at night to find that our stuff got moved around at random and all, but stuff happens; it turned out nothing was actually missing. They probably had an event they forgot about or something.
  Well on the second night, one of our event organizers got a phone call - the church "didn't know about" a 6 A.M. "prayer meeting" the next morning, and informed us that we were being kicked out and would have to stay at another church. This phone call kicking us out came shortly before midnight. Instead of compromising with us and telling us we had to stay out of a certain area between 5:30 and 7:30 A.M. or something, they just made us leave. Even though it's a sizable enough church that we COULD have stayed tucked away unseen.
  So as a Christian, I'd just like to offer this firm rebuke because y'all can't seem to figure out what "hospitality" is. "Hospitality" means "putting others first" - and if that means inconveniencing your 6 A.M. "prayer meeting" a little, so be it. Y'all dropped the ball and shouldn't have made weary travelers suffer for your mistakes. Luckily we managed to squeeze into the other church conference-goers were staying at, but it wasn't pretty.
  I also plan on sending this to their pastors via email, so we'll see if they learn a lesson from it.

  Capital City church has blessed me in Madison tremendously as I have been away from my home church. It has been filled with REAL people who genuinely care and lasting friendships are being made and continually in the making . It is different from other churches because it tries to outreach the community as well challenging us to be disciples of Christ. I like it because church is not just a Sunday thing- they organize lots of daily activities outside of sunday service like sporting events (eg softball, frisbee, etc) as well as digging into Scriptures midweek!
